Ingredients

  • 3 1/2 tbs butter
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 tbs yeast
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 1/4 tsp salt

Method

  1. 1

Warm the milk until it feels just warm to the touch, not hot. In a mixing bowl, stir the yeast into the warm liquid with a pinch of the sugar and let it sit until foamy, about 5 to 10 minutes.
