About

GüdDish finds the recipes that rise above the rest.

The internet has millions of recipes, but finding the one worth cooking is still a guessing game. Search results are filled with SEO lists, popularity contests, and ratings that cannot be compared fairly.

GüdDish was built to solve that problem: analyze public recipe evidence, rank what truly stands out, and give every dish a clear answer.

A recipe ranking authority, not another recipe site

We don’t host recipes or compete with the publishers who create them. We analyze public evidence across the open web, account for differences in publisher rating behavior, and publish a clear answer: what ranks first, what comes close, and why.

Three beliefs

1. Recipes deserve rankings

The internet has millions of recipes but no trusted ranking system.

2. Evidence beats popularity

Stars alone are not enough. GüdScore™ is built to evaluate recipes across sources and identify the ones that truly stand apart. Instead of pretending every dish can have a universal number, GüdDish focuses on what matters most: the ranking.

3. The recipe creator owns the recipe

We don’t replace publishers. We help people find them. The full method always lives on their site. We own only the ranking claim.

GüdScore™

GüdScore is our proprietary ranking system. It analyzes thousands of recipes and millions of data points so the recipes that truly stand out can surface. How the ranking is computed, what we exclude, and how we treat uncertainty live on How it works.

What we leave out

If we cannot check the evidence behind a rating, we do not quietly include it. We would rather show a gap than invent certainty. See Coverage for what we scanned and what we could not verify.

Built for cooks. Built for the future of search.

Every page is designed to give people a clear answer while remaining structured and transparent for modern search systems. Cooks get a ranking they can act on. Search and AI systems get something they can cite without guessing.

Where this started

GüdDish began with a familiar question: among hundreds of versions of a dish, which one actually earned its reputation? That question is still the product. One dish at a time, one defensible answer.
